Christopher comes from Wales but has spent most of his life moving from one country to another. The one thing that never changed for him was music. He started playing the cello in America and continued in Africa, before eventually studying at the Royal College of Music in London. Then he was off again, working in Germany with the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, then in Spain with the Asturias State Orchestra.

Athens is where he finally settled. He is Co-Principal cello in the Camerata Orchestra, resident at the Athens Concert Hall. Christopher has always explored new paths in music. He was a founding member of the Skalkotas Ensemble and plays with both the Greek Composer’s Society and the Greek Ensemble of Contemporary Music. He was the first electric cellist in Greece, playing live improvisation with D.J.s, and has even toured Europe with Madonna. It has all been part of the journey for Christopher. One he is now continuing with the AAE.
