The Duo is really where the AAE began. Costas and Vallia have been performing together since 1991. Although long-term collaborations aren’t uncommon in classical music, what makes their relationship special is the fact that they have spent years working and studying together both in Greece and in Holland at Fonty’s Hogenscholen. Added to this is the fact that much of their study concentrated on contemporary music. This has given them, as a duo, a rare and deep understanding of contemporary music and the experience needed to perform it.

They have performed throughout Europe, as well as recording for Greek State radio.
